Sydnie Spearman, LCPC

A Midwest girl at heart, grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and came to the big city to follow her dreams. Sydnie has always had an affinity for mental health and wanting to help others be their best selves. After completing her Master’s degree in 2017, she embarked on her journey as a clinician, and went on to work with the forensic population in the county jail, providing mental health and substance abuse treatment. When Sydnie isn’t busy making the world a better place, one client at a time, she loves to snuggle with her cat, Jack, read a good book, practice the ukulele, and let loose at Sunday brunch. With this podcast, Sydnie hopes to reach people in a way that makes them feel a little more comfortable talking about mental health, eliminating the stigma, and learning to laugh at ourselves when things get tough.
